The Top Two Reasons to Exfoliate
Exfoliating may seem like an extra step in your skin care regimen, but is it a necessary one? YES, and I’ll tell you why you need to exfoliate your skin regularly. Well, I’ll tell you the top three reasons why you should exfoliate your skin on the regular.
First let’s define what I mean by regular. Depending on your skin type and condition I recommend exfoliating 2-3 times per week but if you aren’t used to doing it maybe start off with once a week and work your way up. I also recommend using a gentle exfoliant more frequently rather than a rough one every once in a while. This keeps the experience pleasurable and gets your skin used to being exfoliated. There may be the occasion when you want to use a more aggressive form of exfoliation (i.e. when removing callouses from your feet to get ready for all those cute strapy sandals you bought for summer). So here we go! You should exfoliate regularly are because it keeps your skin soft, it is anti-aging, and it improves moisture retention.
Exfoliate for soft skin
Exfoliating removes dead skin cells which tend to congregate and create bumps and rough patches of skin. Removing these dead skin cells keeps the skin smooth and allows cleansers to work properly. This helps prevent acne and clogged pores. It also exposes the new fresh layer of skin that hasn’t experienced the harsh aspects of life that cause it to lose its smooth texture.
Exfoliate to look younger
Removing dead skin, not only makes it softer which makes it also look younger but it allows the skin to generate new skin cells which also make your skin look younger. Mechanical exfoliation also stimulates the skin and increases blood flow and circulation. This keeps the skin nourished making the skin look brighter, softer, and more supple.

Size: 6oz
This scrub features Vanilla Macadamia nut coffee from Kona, Hawaii. The coffee in the scrub helps to tone and tighten the skin while temporarily reducing the appearance of cellulite. The coconut sugar draws moisture to the skin and works with the coconut oil to give you soft supple skin while providing a natural fragrance that turns your bathroom into a tropical paradise!
If the oils and sugar have separated a little, stir to remix. Take a quarter-sized amount into your palm and rub in a circular motion on your body or your face and rinse. This is done best after cleansing. You may not need to moisturize as the oil may be enough to moisturize your skin. For easy scooping and to prevent water from entering the scrub (this is a preservative-free scrub!), use a spoon.
The scrub bar comes with 2 3oz scrub bars.
