Hello, I am Kesha Janaan, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brown Sugar. My passion for natural skincare products began with a personal need for effective, nourishing solutions for my hair and skin, which led me to develop my own line of high-quality, organic, and fair-trade products. My mission is to make these natural skincare products accessible to everyone, while also ensuring that they are environmentally friendly and ethically sourced.
Our Journey
While living in the arid climate of Arizona, I found that my hair was constantly dry, frizzy, and unmanageable. This led me to create a whipped body butter for personal use, designed to nourish both my skin and hair. Over a period of five years, I perfected the formula and, in January 2017, I started selling the body butter. Encouraged by the positive response from my customers, I expanded my product line to include a variety of bath and body items.

Our products are at least 90% natural, with the majority being 100% natural.
